Meet the Cast and Crew of Treasure Island

Katie Alley

(Theatre Educator, Director) is in her 14th year as a Theatre Educator and Director at Bearden High School.  Each spring the stage transforms into an imaginary world, guiding audiences from the enchantments of A Midsummer Night's Dream, through the transformative waters of Metamorphoses, and on to the gripping trials of The Crucible. This evening, we will take you on a voyage to Treasure Island, a thrilling quest for treasure filled with sword fights, a talking parrot and a daring adventure on the high seas. Each play I've directed at BHS begins with the script—a map leading to the treasure at the journey’s end: the art of storytelling, the mentorship of students, and the creation of enduring memories.
